“Anderson will breathe through his mouth for a while”: Former wrestler on Page’s perfect face-kick

Michael ‘Venom’ Page, who currently holds a record of 18 wins and only 1 loss, maintained his 5 win streak as he fought at Bellator 258 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.

The fighter dominated the bout with his opponent Derek Anderson and finally ended it in style as he landed a well-timed face kick that was clean enough to flatten Anderson’s nose.

Even though Anderson did make it till the end of round 1, however, the physician suggested to call off the bout as his nose was in a bad shape.

As the match ended, Michael — who held a (19-1) record — went on to become the first one to finish Anderson with strikes.

Even if a discussion emerged about Anderson being able to continue the scrap, RJ Clifford’s post would definitely eliminate it.

In a post-match interview with John McCarthy, Michael Page spoke about his opponent’s toughness. He also added that he wanted to have a rematch with Douglas Lima, with whom Page holds his only loss record.
