Banter: Sainz hits back at Ricciardo ‘dresses like 60-year-old’ retort with a hilarious comeback

Carlos Sainz has started to feel more comfortable in his new home at Ferrari. Even though he is yet to show results, Sainz is happy with his performance at the moment.

When asked to rate his performance out of ten, the Spaniard had an interesting reply.

“A solid nine. I’m very happy with my life at the moment,” he said.

Sainz had an amazing weekend with a whole bunch of fans out to support him.

“I saw the fans in front of the fences, they had made several banners to support me,” he described.

“Then I realized, okay, this is a moment I have been dreaming of for the last 15 years.”

Mattia Binotto was also happy with Sainz and stated that the Scuderia will finally be on track with two top drivers this year.

Daniel Ricciardo had recently made a comment against Sainz stating that he dresses like a 60-year-old. The Spaniard had an interesting reply to this.

“Style and class you just can’t buy,” Sainz said. “He still tries to wear those fancy clothes, but he doesn’t know what it’s like to wear a decent shirt.”
