“Before my time comes, I want to fly”: Khabib shares a heartfelt message on future aspirations

Khabib Nurmagomedov, who has currently retired from the sport of MMA, recently shared a heartfelt message. ‘The Eagle’ has created a legacy that will be hard to match anytime soon. With his unbelievable record of 29-0, he will surely be remembered as one of the greatest fighters of all times.

Nurmagomedov said, “You know why I want to be free because I’m an eagle. I want to fly just fly, fly, when my time come, I’m gonna die. You know, but before my time comes, I want to be fly you know, I want to be free I want to do whatever I want.”

“You know I want to spend time with my family friends with my people you know, I want to live in my village because even if you have all warmed you’re gonna die.

“Everything is gonna be finished one day a couple people gonna come to grave put you inside there and finish you know, and for life I don’t need, I don’t need like too much,” he further stated.

“You know, even, even if you are billionaire, you’ll never eat more than one bread in one day. You know? I want, I want to be free. I want to fly and I want to do whatever I want. Whatever I need, whatever I need when I die because I really believe the next life.”

The champ retired from the sport after successfully defending his belt at UFC 254. ‘The Eagle’ had a difficult year in 2020 following the death of his father and mentor, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.

He has realised that his family holds more importance than his career at this point in his life. After retirement, Khabib is now working as a coach and mentor for his teammates and training partners.
