Netflix is set to release the third season of F1 Drive to Survive which will cover the 2020 season.

However, this release has been postponed due to a number of factors.

The coronavirus pandemic meant that not only was the racing calendar altered, but the shooting team had to adhere to strict distancing protocols.

Netflix has finally released the trailer though. For all those of you who are yet to catch a glimpse of it, you can see it in the link below.

The third season is set to launch on March 19, 2021.

Among sport docuseries, F1 Drive to Survive is right up there. It contains phenomenal behind-the-scenes footage which keeps viewers glued and allows them to get a deeper understanding of the inner workings of the sport.

There are many note-worthy moments scattered across the 2020 season. It will be interesting to see the circumstances that led to Ferrari announcing its decision to end its association with Sebastian Vettel.

Lewis Hamilton also equalled the record for most championships, He is tied on seven alongside German great Michael Schumacher.

There was plenty of action from the likes of Sergio Perez and Pierre Gasly, both of whom claimed a debut win. Romain Grosjean’s unfortunate accident will also be documented, as will George Russell’s week with Mercedes.

The season delivered plenty of excitement and drama, even though Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes were largely untested as far as the drivers’ and constructors’ championships are were concerned.
