“Mom wouldn’t let me live that one down”: Beal delivers 50-point performance during parents’ visit

Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal has been on a tear this season proving his haters wrong. Averaging 31.4 PPG, 4.4 APG and 4.7 RPG, Beal is currently No. 2 on the season’s leading scorers list proving just how underrated he truly is.

Extending on his dominant season, Bradley Beal poured 50 points onto the scoresheet during the Wizards vs Pacers game. Unfortunately, Beal was forced to sit out during overtime due to a left hamstring strain. He will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.

“Actually, he tweaked his ankle and we didn’t want to push it at the end. He wanted to but our guys told him not to push it. Hopefully, it’s not too serious.” Wizards coach Scott Brooks said after the game

Despite Beal being sidelined, Russell Westbrook and the Wizards were able to secure the 133-132 win in overtime, improving their season record to (32-36).

When asked post game what sparked his performance, Beal delivered a heartwarming statement.

“I had the honour of my parents being at the game tonight. They drove up 3-4 hours. So the last thing I wanna do is waste their time, play like ass. My mom wouldn’t let me live that one down” he said.

Washington Wizards now look to secure a play in tournament spot as they take on the Atlanta Hawks on May 10th.
