Shaheen Afridi wrecker in chief as Pakistan finally beats India in World Cup event

India began the game as favourites to win the T20 World Cup 2021 match versus Pakistan, in what was a highly anticipated match.

The Men in Green, on the other hand, dominated the proceedings to get off to a solid start. Pakistani paceman Shaheen Afridi demonstrated his dominance by taking important wickets.

In his first over, the fast bowler dismissed India’s best batsman, Rohit Sharma, for a golden duck. With a good velocity, he bowled a full and straight delivery.

The batter was a little late in laying down his bat, and the ball hit the rear pad. Pakistan made a strong case, and the finger was raised, giving the Men in Green a crucial wicket.

Pakistan’s confidence was boosted by the wicket in the first over, and it reflected in their fielding.

Shaheen Afridi plays a major role in Pakistan’s victory

In his session, the pacer exhaled fire and took another key wicket in the game. After returning Rohit to the hut, Afridi added to the occasion’s chutzpah by guiding the other opening the way back to the pavilion.

He ensured the in-form KL Rahul departs early with an unplayable in-swinging Yorker.

It was a long pitch, and the batter attempted to play it across the line but ultimately failed. It passed through the thigh pad and landed on the stumps.

After this wicket, Afridi was ecstatic and dashed in to celebrate the big win. As a result, India was reduced to 6-2 in the third over.
