Khamzat Chimaev, nicknamed Borz, became a prominent face after his 3-0 UFC stint back in 2020. The fighter since then has been off the octagon after his battle with the COVID-19 infection. As he waits on the sidelines, Borz didn’t stop himself from taking a dig at Neil Magny.

The UFC fighter poked ‘The Haitian Sensation’ over a series of tweets after the latter’s victory last night with Geoff Neal at UFC Vegas 26.

Borz has called for a bout between himself and ‘The Haitian Sensation’.

In a series of Twitter exchanges that took place between the two from February this year, the Swedish fighter mentioned a promise to “slap Magny”, when he entered the Octagon next.

Potential Neil Magny vs. Khamzat Chimaev on the cards

In an interview, Dominance MMA CEO Ali Abdelaziz hinted that Stockton native Nick Diaz could be the next possible opponent. The CEO also said that none of the top welterweights are willing to sign for a fight with the Swedish.

However, the CEO believes that Magny would be the right opponent for Chimaev considering the heated fights they are into over social media.

Abdelaziz in the end mentioned that the Swedish fighter is likely to return to the octagon in August after he completely recovers from the infection.
