McLaren driver Lando Norris’ poor luck with robberies has resurfaced after the youngster’s Marabella villa was raided by thieves while he was on holiday with his girlfriend Jennie Dimova.
A number of ‘expensive items’ were reportedly stolen from his luxury mansion when neither he nor TikTok model Dimova were present at the premises.
Norris was spending some time away from F1 and had a three-day trip planned with Dimova.
However, he was in for a rude surprise if relaxation was his main priority, as he got mugged for the second time in recent years following the robbery of his wristwatch.
Norris spoke about the incident, but revealed little about the exact nature of items that were stolen.
“We were out for dinner and our place got robbed,” Norris said.
“A mixture of many things were stolen. Some were expensive and some were not so expensive.
“It is still an ongoing conversation so I cannot say too much.”
Dimova, meanwhile, saw nearly all of her luggage stolen and was noticeably distressed with how events transpired on what was supposed to be a small window of time that she could spend with her partner.
She posted a clip on TikTok where she spoke about the range of items that the thieves had taken.
The video had a caption that said: “If you are wondering why I look like that it is because our villa got robbed and everything I have ever owned – my clothes, my shoes, my bags, my jewellery.
“Everything has been taken – and I am left with literally nothing.
“I cried for two hours but what can I do?”
Norris was last robbed at the final of the European Championship final at Wembley, where a Richard Mille watch was stolen off his wrist, the price of which was £40,000.
The 23-year-old has enjoyed a challenging start to the season at McLaren and is currently in 11th position in the drivers’ standings after the first eight races.
