Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian ridicules “b******* F1” after Abu Dhabi GP ‘joke’

Serena Williams’ husband slammed the Abu Dhabi GP, and ripped into the shenanigans the FIA pulled off.

The F1 community was unanimous in their disapproval of what happened at Yas Marina. The rules were broken to let Lewis Hamilton lose the title on the last lap of a race he was leading the entire time.

The stewards’ decision to twist the Safety Car rules to allow one lap of racing was not ideal for the sport and for Hamilton at all. Even though we saw a new champion crowned, it then became a situation where the more deserving driver was robbed.

Serena Williams’ husband was among those who slammed the Abu Dhabi GP, and launched a short tirade at the entire thing.

Alexis Ohanian, founder of Reddit, is a huge F1 fan. He was fuming watching the race, and let his feelings be known. He is also a friend and admirer of Hamilton, which probably explains his tweet.

“This is bullsh*t,” he said.

What a joke

He was so furious with the result that he took a sarcastic jibe at the FIA in his next tweet.

“Congratulations to the safety car!” he said.

Hamilton, meanwhile shares a close relationship with Serena’s sister Venus Williams, with the Brit supporting his American friend on various occasions.

“When I was young I tried to mix with others,” Hamilton said on differences between people like himself and Venus and the rest of the world.

“Once I learned to accept my differences, I never wanted to be anyone else. During the masterclass, I will teach you how to conquer your personality and use it to reach your goals.”

Hamilton will look to pick himself up and appear for the new season with renewed intent.
