Sky Sports F1 broadcaster Natalie Pinkham said that she would ‘pity’ any man who marries Rachel Brookes after sharing an interesting anecdote about her colleague.
The 46-year-old was speaking on the Pitstop podcast and spoke about some of Brookes’ enviable characteristics, but was quick to sound a warning to any potential suitors that the 49-year-old may have.
Pinkham is a regular in the Sky F1 panel and has been with them ever since making her journalistic debut back in 2011 for BBC Radio 5 Live’s Formula One team.
Pinkham and Brookes have shared plenty of screen time for Sky and share a great rapport.
Pinkham, 46, labelled Brookes an excellent ‘detective’ for all the work she puts into her career as a reporter.
Speaking on the podcast, Pinkham said, “You know Rachel Brookes. I always told her that you should be a detective. I pity the man that ever marries her because she is all over him. Like you would get away with nothing.”
While Pinkham is known for her work covering F1, she confessed that she is an ardent follower of a number of other sports as well and makes it a point to follow numerous teams during her free time.
According to Pinkham, following varied sports is one of the only things that she shares in common with her husband Owain Walbyoff, with both enjoying sports documentaries.
It sets the marker whenever they are together, with both staying away from the fiction world that various streaming platforms have to offer. Instead, they spend their time on sports documentaries.
Walbyoff currently works as the Managing Director at Endemol Games.
The two got engaged in November, 2010, and tied the knot a couple of years later in Portugal.
The couple have two children, a son named Wilf and a daughter Willow.
