W Series driver Naomi Schiff gushes about her idol Lewis Hamilton

The W Series, an all-female single-seater racing series, is motorsports’ response to stereotypes such as “women can’t race.”

This series has grown in prominence over the years, and it has produced several notable racers like as Jamie Chadwick and Alice Powell.

The W Series x Puma collection is now available thanks to a collaboration between the series and Puma.

Naomi Schiff, a rising W Series star, was interviewed for the piece, and when asked who her favourite racing role model is, she immediately selected Lewis Hamilton.

Schiff discusses Lewis Hamilton, her racing hero

Naomi, a Rwandan-German driver, won the KTA X-bow GT4 Championship and the Clio Cup Asia Championship in 2014.

Schiff, a prominent figure in the racing industry, has long lobbied for the admission of women in motorsports. As a result, it’s no surprise that she idolizes Lewis Hamilton, probably the greatest racing driver of all time.

“Since I was very young, I’ve looked up to Lewis Hamilton. He was, for me, the only, call it ‘identifiable’ role model that I had in my career, so he held a special place in my heart and you know,

“I have always been motivated to do as well as he’s done, and hopefully be that identifiable role model to someone else, thanks to him,” Schiff said.

Hamilton reposted Schiff’s video on his Instagram stories, and wrote, “Always shining bright.”

Hamilton has long been regarded as one of Formula One’s most dependable and tactful drivers. Naomi Schaff, like him, is a well-known figure in the world of racing.

She has a couple of championships under her belt and works for the W Series in London, where she is a significant icon.

She now has a platform with W Series, and in 2020, she was named the Series’ diversity and inclusion ambassador.
