Alpine driver Fernando Alonso has been in Formula 1 for a while now. He is among the most recognizable personalities in the sport.

While his current season has not seen any chequered flag yet, he is no stranger to winning races.

During the times when he did win races, he did not shy away from putting forth an incredible celebration worthy of the win.

Back in 2005 and 2006, Alonso won races back to back with Renault. He not only won races in style, but he also showed off his dance moves following the win.

Alonso – King of all dance moves

It is not a difficult thing to understand – any driver who wins a Grand Prix is overjoyed. Alonso, however, has been known to take it up a notch as reported here.

The Spaniard has displayed a variety of dance moves much to the enjoyment of his fans. These moves include the bull celebration and the yoga poses.

However, one iconic move was where he is on the top of his car and has his hands behind his back. He is seen swaying from left to right.

This celebration has not only been considered a fan favorite, but it has also taken the meme world by storm.

Back when Alonso ruled the grid

Alonso has proved on several occasions that he is a great driver behind the wheel. He won his first title back in 2005 after a battle against Kimi Raikkonen of McLaren.

The Spaniard had created a 21-point gap that the Finnish could not cover. As a result, Alonso took home the crown.

The 2006 season was even more nail-biting. Alonso went against F1 legend Michael Schumacher and defeated him with a 13 point gap.

Now, in 2021, his old team has returned as Alpine. Alonso hopes to revisit his glory days through this team.

We are yet to see Alonso claim a victory with his current team.
