Guenther Steiner schools Nikita Mazepin and Mick Schumacher on unnecessary drama

Ever since the 2021 season began, Haas has been in a tough spot often at the back of the grid.

With two rookie drivers, Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin, competing for the team, it is not a mystery that the American team is facing a difficult time.

Team principal Guenther Steiner has revealed that the fight between his drivers is dramatic considering they are driving at the back of the grid.

It is not like they are involved in a high-stake fight with a top gunner.

While talking about the Baku incident, Steiner said, “That was a bit dramatic. It isn’t as fun as made out too.

“But obviously, when you are at the back the only one you want to fight is your teammate.

“We would love to fight with Hamilton, but we cannot at the moment. We will have to wait a little before that.

“It wasn’t fun at the last race as it was made out of.

“Obviously, we looked into the car afterwards, you know I say as long they don’t run into each other, we should let them race a little bit otherwise it gets boring,” Steiner concluded.

The first practice session of the Styrian Grand Prix is finally completed.

Schumacher and Mazepin have scored a P18 and P20 respectively, placed at the bottom of the grid.

However, the Haas duo will have another shot at the Red Bull Ring as they look to improve their time.
