“I am without words, really disgusted”: Jon Jones criticises Joshua Fabia’s extreme training regimen

Jon Jones became the latest MMA star to criticise Joshua Fabia’s rather eccentric training methods. The former light heavyweight champion was frustrated on seeing the leaked training footage of Diego Sanchez and Joshua Fabia.

On Friday, training footage of Sanchez and head coach Fabia surfaced on the internet. The video showcased rather bizarre coaching scenes. However, the video was removed from YouTube but continued to circulate across social media platforms.

Jones took to Twitter on Saturday to express his concerns over his former’s teammate’s involvement with Fabia.

He tweeted, “I am without words, really disgusted. As a person that knows Diego, this is the last thing he needs.” However, Jones later deleted the tweet.

One specific part of the video seems to have caught everyone off-guard. Sanchez is shown to be hanging upside down while Fabia punches, slaps and kicks the first winner of The Ultimate Fighter.

Joshua Fabia has been a part of Sanchez’s team since his TKO win over Mickey Gall at UFC 235. ‘Nightmare’ left Jackson-Wink prior to his UFC 239 loss to Michael Chiesa, where Fabia was at Sanchez’ side.

Many have deemed Joshua Fabia as the reason for Diego Sanchez’s downfall. Sanchez was recently released from the UFC after a dispute between UFC and Sanchez over his medical reports.

Joshua Fabia was reportedly asking UFC to release Sanchez’s medical reports which led UFC to take the decision that he was medically unfit to fight.

Following that, Sanchez was cut from UFC just before his bout with Donald Cerrone. Alex Morono later replaced Sanchez to fight Donald Cerrone.
