Kamaru Usman might not be very happy with Jake Paul as both of them continue to be involved in a war of words with each other.
After Usman defeated Jorge Masvidal to claim his title at UFC 261, he was asked about the riff that was going on between Paul and former UFC champion Daniel Cormier.
Both of them had to be separated during the event as Paul and Cormier got into a heated argument. Following the event which took place at Jacksonville, Usman stated that he would be happy to teach Jake Paul a lesson as none of the fighters in his own division were making enough noise to keep his attention.
Paul was quick to accept the challenge but Usman reverted by reminding Jake Paul that he’s “not a Disney kid”. He warned Paul to be careful while talking to the best welterweight on the planet.
Jake Paul responded by posting a picture of Usman with his daughter in Disney World criticising Usman for calling him a “Disney kid”.
So let’s get this straight:

1. Usman calls me out to fight on TMZ sports interview
2. I quickly accept the challenge to fight and will give him biggest pay day of career ($10m+)
3. Usman then backs out of fight because I’m “a Disney kid”

This tussle between them was far from over as Usman took to Twitter which only escalated their dispute.
He wrote, “I understand you think this is a game which is probably why you don’t realize that this is how people truly get hurt. I don’t play fighting and I can change your life in the worst way.”

While this Twitter war continues to flare up, there are minimal chances that Paul and Usman will actually go up against each other in the cage or ring.
UFC President Dana White has made it clear that he does not seek to engage in any business with Jake Paul, especially after his first three boxing wins over fellow Youtuber and former NBA player Ben Askren.
