Jake Paul took his recent brawl with Floyd Mayweather a step further by getting a tattoo and releasing a ‘Gotcha Hat’ merchandise.
Jake Paul has been picking fights with major NBA and MMA fighters and got his first taste of real action against a professional boxer this past Thursday in Miami.
Jake Paul, who was attending a news conference for brother Logan Paul’s upcoming exhibition match against Floyd Mayweather at Hard Rock Stadium, got into a physical bout when he faced off with Mayweather in front of cameras. Things got heated up when Paul grabbed Mayweather’s cap. This left Mayweather infuriated.
Less than 24 hours to the brawl, Paul decided to take full advantage of this scrap by getting ‘Gotcha Hat’ tattooed on his legs.
He posted a video of himself on Instagram where he was showed getting a tattoo. In addition to that, he also launched a new merchandise line with the same slogan. He posted about his new merchandise line on Twitter and wrote, “if you don’t get gotcha hat then a fool”.

This is a great idea to boost Jake Paul’s business. His scrap with Floyd Mayweather attracted a lot of spectators which only increased his popularity.
Before this, less than two weeks ago, he was involved in a heated confrontation with former UFC champion Daniel Cormier.
However, that did not escalate into a physical bout. Jake Paul should be able to utilise this publicity to create more buzz and who knows he might even end up with Mayweather in a boxing ring.
But one thing’s for sure, his recent merchandise launch will be quite a hit among his fans.
