Brooklyn Nets suffer blow with Durant joining Harden on injury table

The Brooklyn Nets once again find themselves plagued with injuries as Kevin Durant was forced to leave Sunday’s game against the Miami Heat due to a thigh contusion.

Durant was looking unstoppable early in the first quarter as he scored the Nets’ first 8 points. After going up for a lay-up, Durant seemed to get tangled with Miami Heat, Trevor Ariza.

The short entanglement sidelined Durant for the rest of the game. The Nets later revealed it to be a left thigh contusion and would monitor his progress on a day-to-day basis.

As the regular season draws to an end, it seems like injuries couldn’t come at a worse time. Two of the Brooklyn Nets superstars are currently injured in the shapes of Kevin Durant and James Harden. The Brooklyn Nets have big expectations this season, given their stacked roster, and injuries may prove detrimental to their success.

It’s been difficult for the Nets team to build chemistry given the amount of trades and injuries the team has had to adjust to. The superstar trio have only played 7 games together thus far.

However, given their greatness, they should have no trouble finding their rhythm once they do take to the court.
