With his tour against Australia cut short owing to a wrist injury, KL Rahul has somewhat shifted away from the limelight.
On Tuesday, the Karnataka batsman said that he has been working hard on his fitness since sustaining the injury. He was chuffed at the prospect of competing once again during the home series against England.
The 28-year-old, who played the ODIs and T20Is, suffered an injury to his left wrist during a practice session at the MCG. This ruled him out of contention for the third and fourth Tests.
In a bid to regain full fitness at the earliest, Rahul flew back home immediately. There, he integrated with the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
