Fans were taken aback when Osaka stated that she would be retiring from tennis due to mental health difficulties. It’ll be interesting to see if she discusses her health and comeback date on the show or not.
LeBron James, the NBA legend, is one of the show’s producers. Uninterrupted was founded by him and his friend Maverick Carter in 2014. It was on this platform that the show ‘The Shop’ was born.
Drake, Hasan Minhaj, and even former US President Barack Obama have all been as guests on the chat program so far.
Naomi Osaka’s 2021 tennis season
Osaka kicked off her 2021 season with a bang, winning the Australian Open 2021. It was her fourth Grand Slam victory, and it’s worth noting that she’s won them all on hard courts. However, the Japanese star hasn’t been in the same shape since then.
At the French Open 2021, Osaka elected to skip the press conferences. She withdrew from the Grand Slam after receiving a lot of backlash, citing mental health difficulties as the reason. She later withdrew from the 2021 Wimbledon Championships as well.
Naomi was the early favorite for the Tokyo Olympics 2020. She couldn’t create an impression there, and she also failed to defend her title in New York. Overall, the 23-year-season old’s has been a disappointment, as she has slipped six spots in the WTA rankings and is now at No. 8 in the world. Fans have a lot of expectations from her.
