Lewis Hamilton has achieved a lot in Formula 1. It is likely that he will take away one more title win by the end of this season.
But, the Brit could possibly choose to retire soon considering he has started to contemplate what he would want to do in the future.
The seven-time world champion has revealed that he would like to pursue an acting career and is willing to learn the art form.
“I would like to act one day. I want to be the best, in everything I do, I want to be the best, to do the best I can,” he told DAZN F1.
“So, if I’m going to do a film, I’ll go to classes, I’ll study and make sure I express the emotions as I should.
“I don’t have the time right now, so I guess it’s something I’ll do when I retire.”
Will be here next year: Hamilton
While talking about his retirement, Hamilton made it clear that he wants to continue in the sport beyond 2021. But, his contract will run out by the end of the year for which he will want to renegotiate.
“I plan to be here next year, and I want to be a part of that; I want to help Pirelli,” he said.
“It’s something that drivers, all of us, I think, have wished for – [higher] performance tyres – moving forward.
“So it was important for me to see, to gauge where the starting point is and what differences I can help [with]. So that, first of all, from a drivers’ point of view, we have more grip, more mechanical grip in our tyres, less degradation.
“It was a good test and obviously it was the first step with the tyres. But it definitely wasn’t a bad place to start,” he concluded.
