McGregor reacts to Bellator MVP’s spectacular head kick before removing social media post

MMA champion Conor McGregor shared his reaction to Bellator star Michael ‘Venom’ Page’s well-timed head kick that left Derek Anderson with a broken nose.

The ‘Notorious’ took to his Instagram handle to address the move, as he posted an image of the action on his Instagram Story. However, McGregor, as usual, has taken down the story post.

The reason behind Conor sharing the image could be because both McGregor and Page are represented by the same sports management firm called the Paradigm Sports Management.

A few fans believe the reason behind his praise was because they share the same sports management firm and it was an instruction from the upper hierarchy.

Meanwhile, others believe he was simply just impressed by Michael’s strike, which was perfectly timed.

Whatever might have been the reason, the post was pulled down.

Page is considered to be one of the most skilled and innovative strikers in the sport. He has earned a lot of accomplishments in kickboxing and karate before he entered the world of MMA.

The only loss the MVP has ever faced was with Bellator champion Douglas Lima.

MVP lost to Lima in the second-round KO.

Currently, the champion holds a five-fight win streak. His latest triumph was over Derek Anderson with the left head-kick finisher at Bellator 258 on the 7th of May, 2021.

The MVP has been campaigning real hard for a rematch with Douglas Lima since the time he lost.

Lima is scheduled to defend his title against Yaroslav Amosov in June.

If Lima gets a win he can be expected to fight with the MVP later this year.
