Michail Gregory Antonio, an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League team West Ham United, was born on March 28, 1990.

Antonio started his career with non-league Tooting & Mitcham United before joining Championship club Reading in 2008. Antonio was called up by new England manager Gareth Southgate’s squad on March 16, 2017, for a friendly match against Germany on March 22 and a 2018 World Cup qualifier against Lithuania on March 26; however, Antonio withdrew from the squad on March 20, after suffering a hamstring injury.

Antonio was approached by Jamaica again in February 2021, this time to consider playing for them at the international level. He was stated to be enthusiastic about playing and assisting them in their quest to qualify for the 2022 World Cup.
