Abdu Rozik is a Tajik singer who holds the record for being the world’s smallest singer. Rozik rose to prominence for his rare talent of singing Tajik rap songs. His key presence can be found on the YouTube channel Avlod media, which has over 350k subscribers.
Rozik is reportedly 18 years old but his exact date of birthis unknown. He was born in the village of Gishdarva in Tajikistan’s Panjakent district in 2003 to a gardener’s family.
Rozik suffered from rickets as an infant but unfortunately his parents were unable to get him treated due to a lack of sufficient financial support. The illness finally led to his stunted growth. Rozik weighed just 12 kg when he was 16 years old.
Currently, the singer has relocated to Dushanbe, where he is financially backed by Baron, a Tajik blogger/rapper (Behruz). Rozik’s talent was first recognised by Baron, who convinced his father to let Rozik pursue a career in music.
Baron also consulted the doctor about Rozik’s condition and to their relief, the doctor revealed that he could be treated to develop a further 40-50 cm.
Abdu Rozik’s upcoming MMA battle
The Tajik rapper is expected to compete in an MMA match against General Vgorode aka Hasbulla Magomedov, which is reportedly being arranged by Chechen MMA fighter Asxab Tamaev.
Although the fight date is yet to be announced, videos of a tense press conference between the two have recently gone viral on social media.
Magomedov rose to prominence on TikTok after posting several videos of Khabib Nurmagomedov. Though he is not related to the MMA legend, many fans have dubbed Magomedov “Mini Khabib” because he bears a striking resemblance to Nurmagomedov.
The two seem to know each other, as Khabib often posts videos of Magomedov on his Instagram account.
Meanwhile, Rozik has his own MMA buddies, as evident by photos he posts with a Persian fighter called Mohammad Heibati.
