Nico Rosberg is the son of 1982 Formula One champion Keke Rosberg. Rosberg made his Formula One debut in 2006 for the Williams team. He raced for the British team until 2009 after which he switched to Mercedes. He has a net worth of $50 million.
He faced off against the returning Michael Schumacher and easily defeated him. After that, he faced Lewis Hamilton, and things became heated between the two. Finally, after winning the tournament in 2016, he announced his retirement.
Rosberg had a strong work ethic throughout his career, talking to engineers and mechanics and approaching each circuit with the care of a cartographer. Rosberg was regarded by F1 experts as “among the most promising emerging stars”. Initially, the media and fans compared him to his father Keke, the 1982 world champion.

In 2008, the German driver earned his first podium finish at the Australian Grand Prix as a Williams driver. In the same year, he finished second in Singapore.
He won three podiums in his debut season with Mercedes. The first victory came in 2012, at the Chinese Grand Prix. From 2014 through 2016, he was involved in a championship duel with teammate Lewis Hamilton. He finally won his first title in 2016.
This was notable since it came 34 years after his father, Keke Rosberg, won his first title.
