Ralf Schumacher has taken a jibe at Aston Martin and its owner Lawrence Stroll by claiming that the outfit has become too ambitious.

The former Williams driver and the brother of Michael Schumacher does agree that Stroll’s acquisition of the Silverstone-based team was a smart thing to do.

However, his dream of finishing P3 in their first season might border to something bullish.

What did Schumacher say?

The former F1 driver stated that Stroll has to understand that Formula 1 is a team sport, where one has to work with their employees.

Ralf also suggested that there might be internal problems in Aston Martin.

“You can’t forget that you also have to take the employees with you,” said Schumacher.

“You can’t turn a cow into a tiger overnight. I’ve heard there are many internal problems there with all these new people being brought in,” he added.

Dan Farrows – new technical director of AM

Additionally, Andrew Green has been promoted to Chief Technical Director, according to Aston Martin F1 team principal Otmar Szafnauer.

Additionally, Red Bull’s Dan Farrows has been hired as their new technical director.

“I’m grateful that they announced Dan. He’s a great addition to our team. He’s a like-minded individual, he’s a high performer, he’s won world championships, he knows Seb [Vettel],” Szafnauer stated.

“So we look forward to Dan joining,” he concluded.

At the moment, Aston Martin are at their peak performance on the grid. We can only hope that they continue their form in Hungary.
