Maria Sakkari, the Greek tennis player, has been on a roll lately. This season, she has advanced to the semifinals of two Grand Slam tournaments. These findings imply that she is on the right track and that the finish line is within her grasp.
Maria Sakkari, on the other hand, was frustrated after failing to qualify for the US Open final this season. She didn’t think she played her best tennis. When she looked into it further, she was disappointed because she had two chances this season to reach a Grand Slam final.
Sakkari critical of her mistakes
Following her defeat against Emma Raducanu, she said, “She plays fearlessly and she goes for it. She does the right thing and has nothing to lose. She’s enjoying herself. But we were all absent from the court playing against her.
“I saw Belinda yesterday. I think she would agree that we did not bring our best performance. I’m sad. I’m very broken that I couldn’t make it to my first final once again. But I’m positive that it will come sometime soon.”
