Cameron Norrie is at the peak of his career, and he has huge ambitions.
The British tennis player is in the finest shape of his career (16th in the ATP rankings) and has just won his first Masters 1000 title in Indian Wells a few weeks ago.
His emotions encourage him to set goals that in reality seem impossible to achieve.
“I want to be number one in the world. Everyone on my team is pointing the same way.
“I know it is something tremendously difficult to do, but we set ourselves a great goal and we will do everything possible to achieve it,” said the Briton.
While Norrie has made remarkable progress this season, it is difficult to see how he can qualify on the podium.
He had his best performance of his career a few weeks ago at the Masters 1000 in Indian Wells, defeating Americans Tennys Sandgren and Tommy Paul, Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut, Argentine Diego Schwartzman, Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, and lastly Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili.
Norrie will return to action next week in the Vienna Tournament, where he made his debut in a difficult first round against Marton Fucsovics of Hungary.
At the moment, the members of the Big-3 are still on his awaiting account, which is ultimately the parameter that the rest of the men’s circuit has.
Rafael Nadal, a Spanish tennis player, is another great athlete. The 20-time Grand Slam champion has demonstrated his ability not just on the tennis court, but also on the golf course.
Nadal is more than just a casual fan of the sport; he has competed at and conquered the biggest stage at numerous events.
Nadal is a fantastic athlete
Rafael Nadal’s follow-through motion resembled a tennis swing in appearance. We can’t blame the 13-time French Open champion for this, considering tennis is his main sport.
Sergio Garcia, a compatriot and fellow golfer, came upon the video and had an intriguing take on it.
“Nice and short, compact for sure. I played with him a while ago and it was even more tennis-y then,” he said.

When it comes to tennis, Nadal was last seen competing in Washington.
He couldn’t go deep because his foot injury was still preventing him from performing to his full potential.
After that, he opted to call it a season and focus on the 2022 season.
We hope to see him return to the Tour soon and fight for the most prestigious trophies (in tennis).
