Stefanos Tsitsipas, the world No. 3, is looking forward to returning to the Indian Wells Masters, where he wants to have the support of the fans.
Tsitsipas will compete in the Indian Wells Masters for the third time. Tsitsipas didn’t do well in his first two Indian Wells appearances, falling in the second round both times.
The Indian Wells Masters was cancelled last year owing to the coronavirus outbreak.
“Hey everyone, Stefanos here, guys it’s exciting to be back. It’s been a really long time since I’ve been back here. Please come support me, show some love, this week, next week, and all the time being here.
“It’s such a beautiful tournament to be competing in. Being back in Indian Wells just gives me good vibes. Support me and let’s make this a hell of a ride,” Tsitsipas said in a message that was posted on the tournament’s Twitter account.
Tsitsipas’ most recent appearance was in the Laver Cup
At the recent Laver Cup in Boston, Tsitsipas was a member of Team Europe, which defeated Team World 14-1. Six of Team Europe’s top-10 players were on the team, and Tsitsipas felt honoured to be among them.
“This experience is so extraordinary, with two incredible captains and players that are willing to give everything for this event. I feel privileged to be standing where I am at right now and to be learning from the best — that happens to be my teammates,” Tsitsipas said, according to reports on ATP Tour.
