Conor McGregor recently shared a picture with Ramston Rodrigues, whom he claimed as India’s next heavyweight champion.

McGregor took to Instagram to share an image of himself and Rodrigues after their training session. McGregor said that after training with Rodrigues, he realised how strong India and its people are.

He wrote, “Training with India’s next heavyweight champion, @ramstonrodrigues ?? Working with Ramston, I know first hand how strong India and its people truly are! I stand with India in their fight through Covid. Let’s go India! We are with you! The world is with you! ??❤️??”.

He also expressed his support towards India in its fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. He reminded the Indians that the world is with them.

Conor McGregor is currently preparing for his third fight against Dustin Poirier. The former UFC world champion suffered a defeat to ‘The Diamond’ this year at UFC 257. However, he is more than determined to avenge his loss against Poirier.

From his social media posts, it is clear that he is already in training with John Mitchell and has also undergone sessions with Ramston Rodrigues. The McGregor vs Poirier fight is scheduled on July 10 at UFC 264 pay-per-view.
