“Vettel might not make it to the end of the season” – Has the German’s run come to an end?

Sebastian Vettel has been the source of attention for some time now. While expecting to come back to his old form at Aston Martin and gaining some confidence, he was met with a mound of criticism.

Not only did the German qualify poorly, he also took out Esteban Ocon with him in a crash.

Will Buxton is a popular reporter who pitched in his opinions on the whole situation with Sebastian Vettel in a video that he released.

”Vettel has indicated this week that he does not yet feel completely at home in his new Aston Martin car. He had a difficult weekend, with no fewer than five penalties,” Buxton said.

“Sharks are already circling him wondering if he will ever reach his old level. Some people are already wondering out loud, wrongly in my opinion, if he will make it to the end of the season,”

While looking at the top of the list of Formula 1, Buxton goes on to add, ”At the top, Mercedes indicated this week that Red Bull is the favourite at the moment.”

“The pace that Red Bull had on a track in Bahrain that usually doesn’t suit them, of course says how good they were. Especially when you realise that Helmut Marko indicated this week that a problem with the differential cost as much as three tenths per lap,” Buxton concludes.
