Claressa Shields, who will make her MMA debut on June 10, is reportedly dating Tony Richardson, a 34-year-old gym owner.
Richardson is an ISSA (International Sports Science Association) accredited fitness trainer and the owner of Mt. Morris’ ‘AT Fitness Gym.’
The gym opened in 2019 intending to foster and grow a strong fitness culture. Shields is a brand ambassador for the gym in Michigan.
Richardson received an Associate of Arts in Fashion Merchandising from Bauder College in Atlanta, Georgia, nine years before starting his own company.
Richardson uses his merchandising skills to market his own fitness clothing line range through AT Fitness’ website.
Shields made her intimate relationship public for the first time in November 2020.
Shields was recently photographed holding the mitts for Richardson in a recent Instagram post.
Shields set to make her MMA debut
Shields attempted to join the MMA universe in 2020 after being nagged by fans to face UFC double champion Amanda Nunes. Shields enrolled in the Jackson Wink MMA Academy in Albuquerque to fulfill her professional MMA dreams.
She is signed to the PFL (Professional Fighters League) and will make her pro-MMA debut on June 10, 2021, against Brittney Elkin. The fight will take place in the lightweight division.

The 11-0 fighter has confirmed that she has not formally retired from boxing and will make a comeback in the future.
