Neighbours take legal action after Geri Horner’s ‘hideous and illegal’ horse barn jeopardises mobile phone signal

Geri Horner has infuriated neighbours by going against council laws and illegally constructing a huge barn for their fourteen horses.

The stable has been termed ‘hideous’ by neighbours who are left flummoxed by the fact that Geri and Chrsitian Horner have not sought any sort of approval for this construction.

Apart from it being an eyesore to the neighbours, they have also claimed that it has jeopardised their mobile phone signals as they seek a swift solution to the mess.

Geri Horner, famous for being part of the Spice Girls, has been known to be a big fan of horses.

However, her fancy has also led her to construct a barn that has “destroyed landscapes and views”.

One of her neighbours, as quoted by The Sun said,“They have even re-routed public footpaths and installed their own style gates, how is that being allowed?”

What is most puzzling for her neighbours is the fact that Geri clearly violated the rules.

Earlier, Geri and Christian had looked to get approval for a 36 ft greenhouse, which was denied by the council.

The new structure, though, is comfortably taller than 36 ft.

It is believed that Geri Horner will look to seek retrospective approval from the local authority as neighbours continue to echo their discontent.

There are a number of animals that are raised by Geri and she has spoken in the past about how they give her the required strength to cope with numerous adversities.

She had a Youtube series running in the past where she spoke about how her horse ‘Beauty’ helped her find the courage to go back on tour with the Spice Girls.

“I gave my life 100% to music and then when I got to my thirties, I found it so difficult because the teenage bravado had run out and I wasn’t sure where I belonged and I found it a really difficult time being thirty,” she said.

“When I got Beauty, he turned his back on me in the stable, it was like ‘I am not interested’. Part of my ego and pride was like ‘don’t you like me?’ I think that’s how I felt towards the fans I felt like a little bit disconnected and realised maybe I’d taken the fans for granted.

“When I found Beauty, I got my courage back.”

“[When I’m out there] I’m no other identity other than just a woman on a horse feeling brave – that’s it. And sometimes it just feels amazing to feel that.”
