‘Notorious’ became the latest fighter to bash Joshua Fabia for his unorthodox training methods. Recent videos of his training sessions with Diego Sanchez proved to be testimony of his eccentric behaviour.
The coach and manager of Diego Sanchez, recently caught the public eye after several videos showed up. Joshua was found indulging in methods that many found to be unethical. The MMA head coach was also found pestering UFC officials regarding Sanchez’s medical records. This action led to Sanchez’s release from the promotion.
The video which surfaced on Friday was of a training session between Joshua and Sanchez. Even though wild training techniques are common, but nothing quite like what Joshua seems to use.
In the video, Sanchez was seen to be hanging upside down while his coach Joshua hits him with short kicks and punches. Many found this act odd and hence significant criticism followed as a result.
Amongst the fighters, McGregor’s backlash was the latest one.
The Irishman took to his Twitter handle to express his views. The tweet was, however, deleted by the superstar himself.
“This is just madness. I’ll break this things nose in half. This not the move Diego, my bro. I been with ye the whole way, and still am. But this is not on. It was unfair treatment by commentary and fans on your last performances imo, for sure. But not on this guy, 0-0. Ditch.”
Many fighters have recently come out to urge Sanchez to get himself off, Fabia.
Many have attributed the former Ultimate Fighter winner’s recent downfall to his head coach Joshua Fabia.
